Javale McGee’s (5) PEAK Relentless Sneakers From 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest

Javale McGee may of lost last night’s Sprite Slam Dunk Contest to an over-hyped Blake Griffin and a rather cheesy dunk over the hood of a Kia, but he was the clear winner in the footwear department. The Washington Wizards center had all eyes on his feet as he made numerous sneaker changes throughout the night and showed of a number of different colorways of the PEAK Relentless basketball sneakers. By the end of the event, McGee ended up unveiling a total of 5 colorways of the Relentless, all of which are shown here in full detail. Among the five pairs specially designed for McGree you’ll find a Wolverine-inspired design (in yellow) and two others respectively in the colors of US and China’s national flags. There’s a grey pair with camo print and a nice gold colorup as well, and all of them included McGee’s number, 34, on the tongue tag and heel.

Take a closer look at each colorway below.
