There’s a very good chance Blake Griffin may wear these shoes during tonight’s NBA All-Star Game. Nike Basketball created this Nike Hyperdunk 2011 for Blake to wear during last night’s Sprite Slam Dunk Contest but as we saw he opted to wear a pair of the Air Max Fly By instead. He did however make a brief appearance in Hyperdunk’s during an interview. The camera’s didn’t provide us with to good of a look at the shoe’s but thankfully Nike Basketball has. Blake’s bright red Hyperdunk 2011 PE, which is dubbed the “10.0”, features an earthquake theme with “cracked” graphics, magnitude scales and a 10.0 logo to represent the strongest earthquake level on the Richter Scale. Furthermore, glow-in-the-dark detailing is incorporated around the collar, on the heel counter and on the outsole. Since he passed on two opportunities to wear the shoe’s in game play, maybe he’ll break them out in tonights game.
This particular version won’t be releasing to the public when the Hyperdunk 2011 officially hits the market later this year.
