James Cameron probably won’t be to happy to see this. Using the Alien Stomper, a sneaker originally created for Sigourney Weaver’s character in Cameron’s 1986 sci-fi thriller Aliens, Reebok looks to Cameron’s special effects rival, Steven Spielberg, and his Indiana Jones series for some inspiration on their latest offering. To bring the Indiana Jones theme to life, the sneakers feature a brown premium leather and waxed denim upper, reminiscent to Indy’s leather jacket and signature hat, with a red-to-yellow gradient effect on the inner lining similar to that which appears within the Indiana Jones logo. There’s also a special tongue tag with a graphic of an ancient carving to carry the theme further. No release details have been announced at this time. Via: BEE
