Packer Shoes x Reebok Court Victory Pump “Australian Open”

With the 2011 Australian Open coming to a close tomorrow, the Packer Shoes x Reebok Court Victory Pump “Australia” begins to make it’s way to retailers. This is one of four sneakers in a co-branded project between New Jersey-based retailer Packer Shoes and Reebok that’s made to honor Michael Chang, who once wore the Court Victory Pump, and the four ATP Grand Slam Tournaments. To represent the Australian Open the sneakers work the colors and stars from nation’s flag throughout a leather and mesh upper, and include Melbourne AU printed across the insoles with a graphic of a kangaroo dividing the two words. Furthermore, there’s a hidden pocket on the top of each tongue so you can stash your goods just like a kangaroo. The release is limited and aside from Packer Shoes we do know that St.Alfred in Chicago got their hands on a few pairs. The other sneakers which honor the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open will be releasing around the time in which the events take place.
