The embodiment of a 1980’s basketball silhouette, the Decade Hi from adidas Originals first dropped in 1985 and is still going strong over 25-years later. For the 2011 calendar year the shoes return to showroom floors in a small collection of team-inspired colorways as part of adidas’ on-going “NBA Pack”. As it stands right now, three color variations are available for the pickings, with a possibility of more to come in the future. One pair pays tribute to the New York Knicks, sporting a White/Orange-Blue-Black color scheme coinciding with the team’s uniform. A second pair honors the Portland Trailblazers, blending together White/Aluminum-Burgundy-Indigo. The last pair is what looks to be a nod to the Orlando Magic with it’s Black/Bluebird-White color palette. As with all the other adidas Originals silo’s in the “NBA Pack”, such as the Top Ten and Superstar II, the official NBA logo appears on the tongue tag of each sneaker – a detail that can only be provided by the league’s official sponsor.
