Jordan Brand’s joins Nike in celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year with this special edition of the Air Jordan 2011. The Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit” appears to be on the same quality level as a Bin 23 model, featuring the use of premium materials and plenty of attention to details. White patent leather constructs the midfoot of the upper, while wolf grey leather is used for the textured paneling along the base. Gold contrast stitching is used to hold the mudguard in place, complimented by the laces and branding. Additional details include accents of varsity red on the tongue and lining. and a clear outsole with gold speckles. The sneakers come packaged in a limited edition box featuring gold Chinese-inspired graphics on the outside and a grey pattern on the inside resembling the pattern throughout the upper of the shoes. Furthermore, two sets of insoles are included with the shoes, with one pair coming with their own carrying cases. Aside from the shoes, Jordan Brand has also produced a t-shirt and a jacket for a nice little “Year of the Rabbit” capsule collection.
We have still yet to hear any details on a US release date at this time, so for now enjoy the photos and stay tuned for further information. Via: AJ-Talk
