The roster for this year’s NBA All-Star Game hasn’t officially been announced yet, but Nike’s anticipating on Kevin Durant being a part of it. For good reason too, the young superstar currently has over 1.2 million votes and is the leader in the forward division for the Western Conference, and is ranked #2 altogether in the Western Conference behind front-runner Kobe Bryant (what a surprise). Like some of his fellow Nike Basketball buddies LeBron and Kobe, Durant will be sent off to Cali with a special pair of kicks for the big game. To coincide with the Western Conference All-Star’s uniform, Kevin Durant will lace up the Nike Zoom KD III “All-Star” which features a red base, a white Swoosh and a red-to-black gradient effect on the side panels. Included with the shoes is a special All-Star themed box.
An in-store release date for the Nike Zoom KD III “All-Star” is unavailable at this time, but those looking to pre-order a pair can do so through Kix-Files. The e-retailer is accepting orders now for a February 22/23 shipment.
