Before the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low returns to retailers in the Fall, we’ll see the release of two low-top Air Jordan 12’s. The Air Jordan 12 Retro Low is scheduled to return to the market this Summer in two classic colorways. One of them will be the “Bred” version in Black/Varsity Red and the other will be the “Taxi” version in White/Black-Taxi, which we see here for the very first time in detailed photos, thanks to in52. If you recall, the Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Taxi” was first released in 2004 as a miniature version of the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi”, and like it’s big bro, it got it’s nickname from it’s yellow and black carbon fiber shank plate. The sneakers didn’t really catch the eye of a lot of Air Jordan consumers at the time, therefore sales didn’t go over to well and the shoes ended up hitting a lot of discount racks. That was 7-years ago though, and the whole sneaker game is bigger and more hyped up now, so there’s a chance the release could go over a lot better. We can’t provide you with an exact release date just yet, but we do expect the sneakers to hit retailers around May/June. We’ll keep you posted.
