From the 3D version to the Black History Month edition to Rice High School team model, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI has gotten a lot of face time on Sneaker Obsession these past few weeks. It’s almost as if every couple a days a new colorway is popping up, or newer detailed photos of a previously seen model surface giving us a closer look at whats to come. Speaking of what’s to come, here’s look at another new Zoom Kobe VI that’s rumored to be releasing in the near future. Known as the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Sunset”, or “Orange County”, the sneakers give the “Grinch” edition a run for their money when it comes to which of the two are the brightest. The upper features a mixture of several shades of orange which shift from light-to-dark in a style that gives off the appearance of a warm California sunset. Contrasting details come in the form of a light grey Swoosh, hits of black on the midsole and heel, and accents of turquoise on the heel-counter and translucent outsole. Furthermore, the sneakers come with custom insoles made to look like a sandy beach, incorporating a graphic of a starfish and the letters LA.
No official release date for the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Sunset” has been announced at this time, but sources suggest the sneakers will be releasing sometime next month as part of a special All-Star pack Nike put together for Kobe. We’ll let you know as further details become available. Until than, if you’re looking to grab a pair early, you know the drill. Hit up Marqueesole.
