We’ve known about the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Cardinal” for quite a few months now, but the only images ever available of shoes were those that came by the way of a digital render in the Jordan Brand catalog. Thanks to Modern Notoriety that all changes as they’ve provided us with the first look at the actual sneaker. As you should know by now, the Air Jordan 7 is a major part of Jordan Brand’s lineup for 2011, returning in old and new colorways alike. The Air Jordan 7 Retro “Cardinal” has been lucky enough to be selected as one of two OG model’s to make the comeback run this year, it’s second time returning as a retro since it’s original release in ’92 (first retro was in 2006). No exact release date has been confirmed at this time, but the sneakers are expected to release in June, according to the scans from Jordan Brand’s Summer 2011 catalog that surfaced online a few days ago. We’ll keep you posted as further details and more photos become available.
