Nike SB Dunk High “Statue of Liberty” – New Picture

New images of the Nike SB Dunk High “Statue of Liberty” have hit the net, revealing some hidden elements to the shoes. When they’re new and have yet to be put to their intended use, the Dunk’s have a solid Seagreen base. However, once you begin skating in them and they start to get scuffed up, a hidden copper-colored layer becomes visible beneath the green. Digging even deeper into the material reveals a layer of silver. The layering effect is definitely a cool idea as the more you skate in them the more they’ll look like the tarnished shell of the Statue of Liberty. The shoes are expected to release next month as part of the Nike SB February 2011 Collection. Via: N-SB
