Originally previewed back in July, detailed images of the long-awaited new MT580 GORE-TEX models have finally hit the net, thanks to Japanese retailer mita. As part of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection, New Balance will be launching two new colorways of their GORE-TEX laden MT580. With one pair in white with green accents and the other dressed in black with blue accents, the two sneakers are incomparable in terms on colors, yet they’re inseparable by their material make-ups. Both sneakers feature an upper constructed primarily from perforated GORE-TEX, with the addition of a synthetic mesh on the toe-box and around the collar. Both also include a gum Rollbar and outsole. It remains to be known whether or not the new MT580 GORE-TEX are scheduled to release in the US, but it’s been reported that the sneakers are slated to become available through select Japanese retailers in early February.
