As we speak sneakerheads are lining up and camping out with high hopes to grab a pair of the Limited Edition Air Questo AF1s designed by ?uestlove (Questlove) of the Roots. Customizer Mache would of liked to snatch up a pair himself but unfortunately some of us cant sit outside a store for 2-3 days straight. Being the man of many talents that he is, Mache decided that he might as well make his very own ?uestlove Air Force Ones. Instead of using a pair of Air Force Ones though, which isnt Maches favorite base of choice, he opted to lay the design out on a pair of Nike Air Max 90. The shoes include all the main aspects of the Air Questo including the green/black abstract design, a gold Nike Swoosh and touches of red and burgandy. The green/black abstract design may not be an exact match to the originals but then again im sure that hows Mache intended them to look, since its a Mache original. The base Air Max 90 shoes that were used were the St Pattys AM90s from 2007. Mache inverted the burgandy and red accents, dyed all the mesh burgandy and lastly added ?uestloves signature silhouette on just one tongue tag. As with anything produced by Mache the quality is above par and the craftsmanship is the best you can get. Check out more pictures after the jump.
