Originally previewed over the summer, we now have a closer look at the Gorilla Biscuits x Vans collaboration as the official launch is only weeks away. The New York-based hardcord rock band, which is made up of 5 straightedge vegans, teamed up with the footwear manufacturer to put together a two-pack consisting of the brand’s SK8-Hi and Slip-On model’s. Both of the sneakers feature peppy color schemes and are believed to be constructed entirely from canvas and hemp, adhering to the vegan lifestyle of excluding the use of animals for food, clothing or whatever else it may be. It’s unclear how limited the release will be, but the shoes are expected to begin arriving at select Vans retailers in January 2011. Via: FreshNGood
