Jordan Brand’s prominent Bin 23 Collection will continue in 2011 with the Air Jordan 5. This will be the 5th release in the premium Air Jordan collection, following in the path of the Air Jordan 2, 7, 9 and 13 model’s that have previously released. Like the others, the craftsmanship of the Air Jordan 5 Premio “Bin 23” is far superior to your basic Air Jordan’s, featuring the highest-quality materials available to fulfill their Premio labeling and displaying a high level of attention to detail in their construction. For this sneaker, Jordan Brand went almost entirely black. A smooth black leather upper, which includes leather replacing the standard mesh side panels, a first for the Air Jordan 5, sits atop a black midsole with Metallic Silver accents and an icey clear outsole. If you’re up on your history of Air Jordan’s, you’ll recognize that the sole unit is a direct transplant from the original Air Jordan 5. To keep the blacked out look going, the “23” on the outer heel was embroidered in black and a black tongue coated in 3M was fastened to the shoes. The waxed “Bin 23” stamp appears on the heel of the sneakers in it’s customary shade of red, which is complimented by a red Jumpman logo on the tongue.
No official release details are available at this time for the Air Jordan 5 Premio “Bin 23”, but Marquee Sole has been kind enough to bless up with some photos of the shoes while we patiently wait for further details. Continue reading to check em out.
