Aside from the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Doernbecher” being Jordan Brand’s contribution to the charitable Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Project VII, the sneakers are also being used as to kick-off a comeback session for the Air Jordan 3 Retro’s. Following the Doernbecher’s, which released today and more than likely can only be found through eBay now, will be the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Cement Grey”. After checking the shoes out numerous times over the past couple of weeks Jordan Brand has finally posted the official release details. As it stands at this time, the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Cement Grey” is slated to touch down at retailers nationwide on January 22nd, 2011 for a retail price of $150. While this may be the third time Tinker Hatfield’s first Jordan creation is being retro’ed since ’88, you can best believe they’ll fly off the shelves just like they did back in ’94 and ’07. If there’s any release date changes between now and then we’ll let you know.
