After emerging as a sample back in 2005, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Neon J-Pack” will finally see a retail release. If you’re a Dunk junkie, there’s no doubt you’re familiar with the shoes as there’s been rumors about their release every year for the past 5 years, all of which were obviously nothing more than just that. This time though the rumors become facts with numerous boutiques confirming a release of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Neon J-Pack” during the Spring of 2011. The retail release brings a slight change with it too. The Black and Neon color blocking remains the same, as does the suede base, however, much of the leather that appeared on the sample has been removed. If you recall, the mid-panel on the sample pair was constructed from black leather. On the retail version shown here the midpanel is covered in black suede. The leather around the collar is still in tack. The switch is minor if you ask us and shouldn’t hurt the release of the shoes, especially since a lot of people have been waiting years to get their hands on a pair. At this point they’ll take what they can get.
When further information becomes available on just when exactly the shoes will become available we’ll be sure to let you know. Via: Warped
