Yesterday, Nike announced they’ve come to terms on a contact with the NFL which will turn them into the official league sponsor by 2012. We figured, what better way to celebrate then giving one of their most iconic models a pigskin makeover. For this segment of “Would You Rock Em??” we present you with the football-inspired Nike Dunk High. With a base constructed mostly from premium brown leathers, the key feature to the sneakers is the textured pigskin leather wrapping around the toe and covering the wing/heel area. The Swoosh and shoelaces were left white to resemble the laces across the top of a football and the midsole stitching and outsole take on hits of black to represent the NFL embroidery found on a league-issued football.
