The Gel Lyte III has become one of the go-to shoes for all the big name collaborators. With a few under their belt already, you can say Mita Sneakers knows a thing or two about Asics collaborations. Whether it’s a Gel Lyte III they’ve previously designed or a Gel Lyte Speed, Mita’s always presented us with a tasteful release that ranks with the best of them. And this new-comer is just as snazzy as the rest of them. As part of their “Kirimomi Project” the Japanese shogun hooked up with Asics to add another Gel Lyte III to their showcase. Their latest creations brings us a black shoe build mostly from traditional leather with tonal leopard print seen throughout to toe and mid-section. White cover the midsole while black caps off the underbelly with a “Far East” hit revealed under the translucent heel section. Finally, the insoles of the shoes consist of a orange and black leopard with Mita graphics.
