Whenever he finds time to visit the Big Apple, LeBron James ensures to catch up with his dear friend Jay-Z. If you know Jay, which we think you do, you know he’s responsible for putting the “All Black Everything” look on full blast. Whether or not he’s the one who influences people to go all black with their attire is another story, but it appears he’s defiantly inspired his buddy LeBron James. Shown here is the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “All Black Everything” designed by DJ Clark Kent for Jay and LeBron which fuses the accomplishments of both superstars into one killer sneaker. The all black sneaker, featuring a combo of black leather and suede throughout the upper, may appear to be a NFW Air Max LeBron VII but don’t let your eyes deceive you. While the lateral side of the upper features perforated suede in-place of the flywire, the medial side features the exact opposite with flywire in-place of the suede. The box the shoes come packaged in and insoles are where the details really get heavy. The left insole features gold detailing of LeBron’s milestones throughout his career so far, while the right insole lists some of the accomplishments of Jay-Z. The box, which is designed to look like a hardwood basketball floor, continues to list some of LeBron’s achievements. Sitting beside the box is a Meister watch stylized in black and gold to match the color palette used throughout the shoes.
From what we’re hearing at this time, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “All Black Everything” is a friend and family edition and will not be releasing to the public. If we hear otherwise we’ll let you know. A larger shot of the sneakers, box, insoles and watch follow after the jump.
