New Balance may have introduced their innovative, eco-friendly Sonic Welded 574, but that doesn’t mean they’re giving up on the original stitched and glued version. In fact, the original waste filled 574 just hit select retailers in a color scheme which looks to celebrate the upcoming football season. Appearing in the signature colors of none other than the Green Bay Packers, the NB 574 includes a Green upper constructed predominantly from suede with mesh surrounding the ankle and covering the toe-box. The tongue also includes a layer of mesh, however, this is where the Yellow begins to come into play to round out the Packers colorway, in addition to also being applied on the leather heel tab, the “NB” hit on the ENCAP and the trim wrapping around the Grey New Balance “N” logo along the side of the upper. They haven’t quite made their way to US just yet, but Kasina in Korea has plenty in stock for those located outside our shores.
