Nike AF1 ‘Iron Man’ Customs w/glow in the dark features
Since the Iron Man movie dropped in theaters a few sneaker customizers have taken attempts at creating an Iron Man inspired custom. Here we have a Custom Air Force One which is the work of Sole Junkie. Using an all white AF1 as a base, Sole Junkie included a picture of Iron Man on the side panel of each sneaker. The left sneaker, shown above, has a close up as Iron Man only showing his head, as the right sneaker shows Iron Man set back a lil bit with more of his body armor showing in the image. The render of Iron Man is amazing but thats no surprise really as Sole Junkie has always executed well designed portraits. By the way, thats REAL 23K gold which was used on Iron Man. What you dont notice at first glance, and will never notice during daylight hours, is that there are glow in the dark features on both shoes. When the lights go off or the sun does down, the eyes and parts of Iron Man’s body armor take on a neon green glow. Besides the Iron Man designs Sole Junkie finished up the rest of the shoes in a matching red and black colorway. Dope kicks, some artists will use glow in the dark paint on anything but this truly reflects the Iron Man character…thanks for continuing to always bring the latest and greatest when it comes to sneaker news!
