Whether you love em or hate em, there’s no denying the fact that the Foamposite Air Force 1 Hi revolutionized the AF1 franchise. For the first time in it’s 28 year history, the Air Force 1 was constructed with a lightweight foamposite shell, creating a seamless one-piece upper. With the success of the release and the positive feedback they received, Nike will soon be launching a second colorway of the Foamposite Air Force 1 with hopes to have the same, if not better results. As a counter to the brighter Silver version, this pair is encased with a Black foamposite shell with color matched nubuck on the lace panels and heel tab. To keep the dark look going, the rest of the elements on the shoe are Black as well, such as the mesh tongue, the removable ankle strap and the translucent outsole which has a Black tinge to it.
An official release date from Nike has yet to be announced, but reputable reseller MarqueeSole has a few sizes in stock if you’re willing to part with a little extra lettuce for an early pickup.
