Evan Turner, 2010 National Basketball Player of the Year and the 2nd round draft pick by the Philadelphia 76ers, has yet to play in an official NBA game and the young 22-year old rookie already has himself a sneaker endorsement. It was announced earlier today that the former Ohio State star agreed to a 6-year endorsement with Chinese footwear manufacturer Li-Ning, joining the likes of SHAQ, Baron Davis and Jose Calderon. During the first year of his contract Turner will wear general Li-Ning products, while appearing in their marketing campaigns. His own signature model and apparel line will follow in the second year of his deal.
After the jump is a video of Evan Turner on CNBC where he sits down with his agent, David Faulk (Jordan’s former agent) and Brand Director for Li-Ning, Brian Cupps, to announce his deal.
