Nike Air Force 1 Low “France” WBF

This past weekend the Air Force One, DJ Clark Kent designed, “5 Boroughs Pack” hit the streets to honor the upcoming World Basketball Festival in NYC. Continuing with the World Basketball Festival inspiration, Nike Sportswear will soon be releasing a pack of country specific Air Force 1 Low’s. Among one of the teams being honored is the French National Team as seen in these pictures provided by KATC.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “France” features a base coat of Navy throughout the leather upper with a splash of White on the Swoosh, heel panel and midsole. As far as the colorway itself, it doesn’t really scream France with the lack of red, so therefore key detailing was used to finish the job. Obviously you’ve got the French flag as a tongue tag, the first feature you’ll notice, followed by tonal embossed lettering of France on the White heel tab. Lastly, beneath the icy outsole are graphics taken from the World Basketball Festival posters with the French flag thrown in here and there.

The Nike Air Force 1 “France” World Basketball Festival is set to release on August 8th, 2010, through select Nike Sportswear accounts, including House of Hoops.
