Shortly after the Fourth of July we learned of an upcoming Gel Lyte III designed in collaboration with SlamJam, the Italian streetwear boutique located in Ferrara, Italy. Thanks to the writers at SuedeandMesh, who managed to get their hands on pair, we now have a closer look at the sneakers. If you checked out the preview photos you should notice right off the bat how these carry a completely different colorway. While the others featured a dark brown base this pair opts for multiple shades of grey throughout the suede and mesh base. The dark green lining has also been swapped for a refreshing shade of blue which is matched by a pair of laces. The red accents on the heel and gradient design on the midsole are basically the only similarity between the two, along with the SlamJam branding. These we’re shown in the video we posted at the time, however they differ greatly from those which were on displayed in Berlin, raising the question whether there may be two different versions coming our way in the future.
No official release date is available at this time so stay tuned for further details to find out exactly which one’s, if not both, are releasing.
