The MLB Boom Pack by Nike

As if a 6-figure bonus wasn’t enough for making the All-Star roster, Nike’s put together what’s known as the Boom Pack as a little gift for their sponsored athletes named to this year’s All-Star team. Each of their elite players participating in the upcoming 2010 All-Star Game on July 13th is being presented with this custom built metal case housing special editions of the Nike Air Max Diamond Elite cleat and the Nike Trainer 1.2, as well as two pairs of Nike sunglasses, a pair of Nike batting gloves, and Beats by Dre Studio Headphones. As for the sneakers, the Nike Air Max Diamond Elite sports a solid orange base with detailed tonal graphics printed throughout the upper, while the Nike Trainer 1.2 uses a white and grey base with subtle accents of orange and a touch of black. While the MLB Boom Pack will only be available to those suiting up for the big game, the Nike Trainer 1.2 is expected to make a solo limited release at some point or another. Exactly when that’ll be is still unclear at this time.
