The Nike 1/2 Cent in it’s Royal Blue coat is by far been the most popular colorway of the model available so far. However, the Nike 1/2 Cent “Eggplant” will look to steal, or atleast share, the spotlight later this year.
Set to release as part of Nike’s Fall 2010 Collection alongside a Cranberry colored version, the Nike 1/2 Cent “Eggplant” takes the purple hue made famous on the Air Foamposite One and transplants it throughout it’s foamposite upper. The translucent outsole has also been carried over to cap off the design. While they’re not expected to release for a couple more months, there’s a SZ 9 available now through VMV for a price of $280 without the original box. Given the fact that the shoes will retail for $200, an $80 inflation isn’t all to bad for a release this early on.
If you can’t fit the size 9 or choose not to spend the extra bills, stay tuned for further details on just when the Nike 1/2 Cent “Eggplant” will release at distributors.
