Lucasfilm and adidas Originals will continue with their extensive Star Wars Collection this coming Fall/Winter season with some new additions to the lineup. Among some of the new characters being introduced will be R2 D2 & C-3PO which we saw combined into one Top Ten Low and Han Solo who we see here represented on an adidas SL-72.
According to what adidas Originals has told us these tie into the memorable scene from Star Wars where Darth Vader froze Han Solo in carbonite and had him shipped off to Jabba the hutt. Hence the silver-ish material used throughout the upper and Han’s image on the tongue tag which shows him in his frozen position. Other details tying into the character include accents of black inspired by his belt and a few hits of blue and red inspired by his signature pants.
