While they’re highly praised for their historical basketball sneakers, Jordan Brand seems to wanna get in on trainer phenomenon and help people get lifted with a little bit of Air. A few days ago we showed you one of the brand’s latest hybrids set to launch in 2011, the Jordan CMFT Air Max 12, a model which transplants the Air Jordan 12 upper onto an Air sole from an Air Max 97. We’re sure we’ll see plenty more of the Jordan CMFT Air Max 12 in the coming comings but for now we have a look at another Air infused Air Jordan.
Thanks to SneakerNews we’ve got a look at what’s known as the Air Jordan Comfort VIS 11, a Air Jordan 11 meets Air Max 1 hybrid. Shown are two upcoming releases which are set to launch during the Spring of 2011. One of the styles takes direction straight from the classic Cool Grey Air Jordan 11, borrowing the white and cool grey colorway without the patent leather material, while the second pair yields a anthracite and black base, tonal elephant print on the mudguard and bright volt accents of the slightly modified Air Max 1 midsole, lining and laces.
Are you feeling the direction Jordan Brand is going with this Air Jordan-meets-Air Max series or do you find it untasteful?
