Call it a coincidence but a few days after hearing Lance Armstrong’s announcement about his upcoming run in the Tour de France being his last one, Eddie Cruz comes through via Twitter with a look at an upcoming LIVESTRONG Nike Dunk to honor the event which Lance has won 7 times. Reported to be a Tier Zero release and launching through UNDFTD La Brea this coming Saturday, the Dunk High features a solid black upper with subtle yellow accents. There also appears to be a rather large tongue tag, although the image doesn’t provide us with a clear shot to see what it may possibly say. We would believe it incorporates the LIVESTRONG brand name. The most noticeable element on the shoe though is the multi-colored stripes wrapping around the heel. We’re sure the colors stand for something, we’re just not sure what.
As mentioned these are scheduled to release this Saturday, July 3rd, 2010, through UNDFTD La Brea. It hasn’t been mentioned whether or not other Tier Zero accounts will receive shipment of the sneakers so if you have one if your area hit em up for further details.
