The holiday season is known to bring some of the year’s most popular releases. Last year it was the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” that got us all giddy and the year before that in 2008, Nike introduced the Zoom Kobe IV on NIKEiD on Christmas Day, allowing enthusiats to customize their own sneaker with over 5 billion design variations.
There’s still a rumor floating around that the Nike Air Foamposite “Royal Blue” is set to re-release at some point this year and if that’s indeed true, there will be no denying them the crown for the year. Until a confirmation can be confirmed though, these two Nike 1/2 Cent colorways are garnering all sorts of attention and could be in place to take the spot this year as the most anticipated release of the holiday season.
If you recall we originally caught wind of the Nike 1/2 Cent Eggplant and Cranberry back in March when catalog images of the sneakers surfaced. Those were soon followed by another look at the Cranberry’s in their actual form back in May.
Now thanks to SneakGeekz, we’ve got some detailed photos (and a video!!) of both these beauties to share with you. There is still no mention of an exact release date at this time but it has been confirmed that they will be part of Nike’s Holiday 2010 Collection. We’ll be sure to keep you informed on any updates between now and then. In the mean time, follow the jump to check out all the photos and the video of the Nike 1/2 Cent “Eggplant” & “Cranberry” provided by SneakGeekz.
