Nike Air Max Wavy @ Finish Line

Hoping to bank of the current Foamposite craze circling the globe, Nike introduces the Air Max Wavy, a new cutting-edge basketball sneaker influenced by the old signature sneakers of Kevin Garnett and Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway.

Taking the swooping design from the Air 3, KG’s former sneakers, and mixing in a strong usage of Air Penny III elements, such as perorations on the medial side of the upper and the obvious foamposite covering, Nike’s created a foamposite offspring that actually looks like it stands a chance against today’s opinionated consumers. To go along with the inspired design Nike’s debuting the shoes in two color options resembling those once used on previous Foamposites – Metallic Silver/Black which you’ll notice on your Foamposite Pro’s and Artic Blast/Black which appears a little richer then the Royal Blue Foamposite One.

The sneakers are reported to not officially release in store until sometime in July, but we’ve informed that Finish Line has both colorways available now for $80.
