If you ask us, Nike’s planned Foamposite surprise isn’t really turning out how we imagine they would of liked it to.
About two weeks ago Nike announced on Twitter that there would be a surprise Foamposite release that the world has never experienced before. Being that the Foams have a huge fanbase, a lot of people had a smile as big as a capital U when they heard the news. A lot of those smiles thought now seem to be frowns as it was soon revealed that the surprise Foamposite is an Air Force 1 constructed from the foamposite material. Something which a lot of people expressed a strong distaste for. As it stands now, from what we see and where where we look, the majority defiantly seems to be against the sneakers, having wanted something more striking which would cause them to jump like they did for the 1/2 Cent’s.
Since there was only a preview of the sneakers provided at the time maybe now that detailed photos have become available, the opinions of some people will change. As me for, I still hold my ground, opposing the sneakers and wishing the big news would of been something else. It is for it is though, thankfully we got word of the Metallic Pewter Foamposites yesterday, that sorta makes up for this I guess. I still want my Royal Blue’s though, damnit!!
Watch for the Foamposite Air Force 1 to officially release on August 14th, 2010.
