A few days ago Nike Sportswear announced their would be an upcoming Foamposite release which “the world hasn’t felt yet“. The announcement had sneakerheads throwing out guesses left and right on what they suspected it could possibly be. Some thought a new hybrid like the 1/2 Cent, others believed it would just be a new Foamposite One colorway. There were even some who believe it was the Foamposite Air Jordan 1 and that NSW was just unaware of the fact a photo had already surfaced.
Well, now’s the time to see if you were right as NikeSportswear and SneakerNews have just released photos of the no-longer mysterious Foamposite. As it turns out, the secret behind the announcement involves a next generation Air Force 1 which uses the same technology used to produce the Foamposite’s. It’s reported that the sneakers are part of Nike’s Fall 2010 Collection and will become available in atleast two colorways, the Silver/Black colorway shown here being one of them.
Were your guesses close to being right? Are you happy with the outcome or do you feel the hype was for nothing?
