Whenever I decide to break out a pair of running shoes there’s usually a handful of people who will make a comment about how they like the shoes followed by the question, “how are they for running?”. The hell if I know. I’m a smoker. I try not to run cause when I do, I don’t get very far. But I do do a lot of walking, so running shoes like the Nike MS78 are usually at the top of my collection.
Mashing up elements from the Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 and the Nike Air Epic, and incorportaing some of their latest technologies like a lightweight phylon midsole, Nike put together the MS78 to appear as if it’s a retro runner from years past. The shoes are seen here in their latest colorways featuring multiple shades of grey laid out on an upper built from a variety of materials. A white Nike Swoosh breaks up the colors pretty nicely but it’s the subtle orange accents that make this shoe a winner.
