Since rejoining the catalog last year in 2009, the Nike Big Nike has qualified for perfect attendance. Not quitting a day, the retro 80′s basketball sneaker has launched in more colorways then one can count, including a number of popular themed releases. As you would expect from a dedicated attendee, the Nike Big Nike will be making a steady appearance throughout the year with a few new colorways. One such colorup is the White/Marina Blue-Obsidian version which was spotted at retailers overseas. Alongside those, Nike will also be releasing this White/Team Red-Black color scheme.
Sporting white leather on the toe, lace panels and mid-section, the Nike Big Nike High is contrasted by a black heel panel and a team red Nike Swoosh. Surrounding the ankle is some sort of plush-looking fabric, also in team red, which almost looks like satin but very well may not be. Bring it all to a close is a white mid-sole capped off with red stitching and a black outsole.
It’s expected that the shoes are part of Nike’s June 2010 releases, so they should be arriving at retailers soon. However, there’s a few pairs available now through eBay for those who wanna get a jump start on the release.
