Since the introduction of the concept store in 2007, Foot Locker has been rapidly expanding it’s House of Hoops franchise with hopes to soon have retail locations scattered all over the globe. The process may not be going as quickly as they would’ve liked, as Foot Locker originally reported they had hoped to have 50 House of Hoops locations within 3 years, but the growth has been steady enough with more then 10 locations now open and ready for business.
Next week the retail chain will be opening up it’s newest location in Daly, California, when the Foot Locker at the Serramonte Center is converted into what’s been called the “basketball temple.” The grand opening event kicks off at 4pm and will included a guest appearance by Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors. CHUY from 106KMEL will also be on hand to help NorCal residents get their feet moving and their heads bobbin as they check out the new digs.
