Casio G-Shock x Globe Destroyer

In what may seem like an unlikely paring, Casio G-Shock, Globe Shoes and New Era got together for a little manajatwa action. When you combine the watch company with the shoe company and then add in the fitted hat company, it’s pretty obvious what’s in store for the collabo. Just what you would expect. A G-Shock watch, a Globe Destroyer and a 59Fifty New Era.

News of the collaboration first surfaced early this year with the press releases calling for a late Spring delivery. After keeping our eyes open for the release all these months, we have finally started to spot the lineup at select retailers. Seen here is the G-Shock x Globe Destroyer which takes care of the footwear aspect of the collection. Using an upper comprised of premium leather and synthetic materials, the retro ’80s hi-top features bold styling in a white, black and gold gold palette that perfectly matches the limited edition DW5600GLB-7 G-Shock x Globe watch. Stitched up to the padded tongue is a tongue tag incorporating the logos of both companies, with dual branding also added beneath a clear rubber outsole and the G-Shock logo on a pair of gold lace locks. Perforated detailing, snake skin textures, and metallic accents complete this street-sharp sneaker.

Available in limited quantities, the G-Shock x Globe Destroyer is available now through Zappos for $90.
