Nike Air Max 90 “World Expo”

Last week took a look at the Nike Blazer Mid “World Expo” using a geometric design inspired by the Chinese National Pavilion that was constructed for the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China. As it turns out the Blazer’s are actually part of a pack, as we have spotted an Air Max 90 using the same geometric pattern and the same color base.

A mixture of red patent leather and mesh make up for majority of the base, while smooth premium leather rests on the mudguard and black ripstop nylon fabricates the Swoosh. The red ankle collar is also constructed from ripstop nylon and kicks in the Chinese National Pavilion-inspiration with a geometric pattern leading to a straight edged line design on the mudguard.

If you reside in the states your best chances on getting a pair rest in the hands of sellers on eBay as the World Expo releases from Nike Sportswear are said to be exclusive to Asian retailers. Kix-Files also has a run of sizes up for grabs, so there’s a few options out there for those who want a pair.
