I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of the WNBA, nor do I believe many of you are either, but my attention has been drawn to Diana Taurasi and her Player Editions of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Being one of the most elite athletes in the WNBA, the lanky 6-footer has been blessed with a sponsorship from King James and Co. which has had her lacing up some of the freshest kicks in the league. For her first game of the year against the Los Angeles Spark, Diana stepped out on the court alongside her fellow Phoenix Mercury teammates in a pair of custom Air Max LeBron VII’s which of course donned a color palette to match the home jersey of the Mercury.
Unfourently, there weren’t to many photos which focused primarily on Diana during the game, atleast not in the sense where we got a good look at her sneakers so the images we do have aren’t the best. We’re sure you can get an idea of what’s been done here though. Pure white covers the entire upper while purple accents are applied to the Nike and LeBron branding and onto the inner lining and outsole.
It’s unknown at this time whether or not these will ever release or just remain on the feet of Diana Taurasi. We’re sort of leaning towards the latter though, but we’ll see how it goes. If we find out any more details or get some better pictures we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Via: LRJ23
For the record: Diana Taurasi just signed with the Republic of Fenerbahce in the FIBA Europe league, hence why you see her wearing their jersey in one of the photos.
