Since it’s introduction early last year in 2009, the skateable line of Converse shoes which fall under the CoStar label have been maintaining a healthy relationship within the skateboarding community. Digging through the vaults, Converse has taken their classic silhouettes from over the years and produced them in new durable, skate-ready packages which can compete with the best of ’em in terms of looks, quality and comfort.
Seen here in one of the newest releases of the Converse Weapon S Hi. The S obviously standing for “skate”. As part of their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, Converse produced this new Weapon S Hi using a solid purple base constructed primarily from suede, with a full-grain leather overlay and a velcro ankle strap to match. Sitting beneath the basketball-meets-skateboarding sneaker is a purple non-marking, no-slip rubber sole unit consisting of black pinstripe detailing.
This particular colorway of the Converse Weapon S Hi is available now at select Converse distributors, including Size? in UK, with more colorways expected to release in the near future.
