In the Sneaker Obsession inbox this morning i had a nice little update from TTK with a pair of customs. This week he shows us a custom Nike Vandal which he has named AquaTTK Adventure. The Nike Vandal we see here takes a whole different approach compared to previous work we have seen from TTK, such as the recently posted Nike Dunk Radigold Custom Sneakers. This time we get to see the artistic drawing side to TTK. The customer who commissioned him for the job happened to be a scuba diver who wanted TTK to bang something out which included the use of a diver along with a mermaid somewhere within the design. The Nike Vandal with the mermaid design was started about a month ago and just last weekend (4/26 to be exact) TTK finally had some time to sit down and finish the job. After working for 11 hours straight on them, and listening to CDs such as “The Lost Tapes” by Nas and ‘Return Of The Mac’ by Prodigy the sneakers were finally finished.
