If you’re a fan of the Nike Air Foamposite One you’ve had a lot to cheer about this year. First, Nike blessed you with re-releases of the Eggplants and Coppers, which were more then welcomed. Then, to stir things up a little bit, rumors started to surface about the Royal Blue Foams returning sometime later this year. After that Foamposite ‘heads could barely contain themselves. To blow their lids though, Nike then decided to provide us with details on the “Nike Air Foamposite Cough Drop”, something we’ve all been waiting for.
As you should already know, the sneakers are scheduled to release next month on June 19th, 2010 as a follow-up to the Black/Red Foams that released back in 2007. Back in ’07 when Nike dropped the Black/Red Foams there were a lot of complaints about how the sneakers didn’t include a translucent gel outsole, a feature which has always been preferred on the Foamposite. To make amends Nike is giving those who had complains just what they asked for in the form of the Cough Drop, a Black Foamposite with the heavily requested and desired translucent outsole in red.
