When you combine the simple, not-trying-to-hard style of the Saucony Originals Jazz O with their superior comfort and simplistic color schemes, it begins to make sense why the shoes have remained Saucony’s most popular model for almost 30 years. Renditions such as this Dark Green/Black-Orange version offer the perfect blend of colors on a classic, sporty silhouette that looks great no matter if you’re going for a running, hitting the gym or just kicking it with your friends.
In what’s become the standard for the Jazz O, a combination of suede and nylon is used for the construction of the upper, providing for a light, durable running shoe. Green suede wraps the toe, midfoot and heel, while tan nylon is used on the toe-box, mid-section and tongue. The heel tab and and Saucony logo across the side of the upper are both coated in black leather with a contrast shade of orange used in the form of stitching on the logo and lettering on the heel. Further use of orange is also seen on tongue tag. Capping things off is a black and white sole unit in a layered fashion.
The colors of this particular Saucony Originals Jazz O may not be the brightest of stars when it comes to the pastels and neons usually worked into releases around this time of year, but none the less Saucony never disappoints and regardless of what time of year it may be you can’t loose with the Jazz O. The sneakers are available now at select Saucony retailers.
