Nike’s Air Max series is the epitome of simple, classic running shoes. From the gym to the streets, no matter which model you choose it’s sure to be a winner and provide a stylish, comfortable fit.
As we mentioned earlier when we featured a new Womens Air Max Wright, Nike’s been able to capture our attention with their hybrids. A feat which hasn’t been so easy for other companies. Being a fan of the Air Max 90, which the Air Max Wright uses influences from, I instantly found myself liking the Air Max LTD. Not only do the shoe inject elements from the AM90’s but there’s also a little touch from the Nike Burst in there.
I happened to be in one of my local shops today and out of the corner of my eye I spotted this little gem. A new colorup of the Air Max LTD, one of which I would of copped had they had my size. In a three-step layered process, white leather is used on the top half of the upper, with silver on the mudguard and medium grey on the lower section. Patent leather constructs the Nike Swoosh and white and grey pair together for the mid-sole. Adding in just the right amount of “pop” are accents of challenge red on the outsole, Nike branding on the tongue and heel, and in the form of a thick speckle pattern within the wraparound Air-Sole unit.
