A couple days ago Supra gave us a sneak peek at their next big release, the Supra Skytop II “Cinco de Dinko”. At the time we were left with a single photo of the shoes and no release details, but thankfully we’ve now been provided with the pictures and release details a lot of you been waiting for.
Honoring the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo, and all the drinking which is sure to happen, Supra Footwear produced the “Cinco de Drinko” Skytop II featuring a white full-grain leather construction wrapped with a Mexican Zarape textile on most of the heel and parts of the mid-section. Seen hanging from the sneakers is a metal Mexican flag. Only 200 pairs of the shoes have been produced and all 200 will be available exclusively through Factory 413 in Los Angeles on May 5th, 2010. Doors open at Noon, so if you’re in the LA area get down there early to snag a pair in you’re size before they’re all gone. At this time there has been no mention of the sneakers hitting the online shop for those outside the LA and California area, which apparently quite a few people are getting salty about.
