Last month Nike introduced the Air Flight Falcon, the newest sibling of the Nike Air Flight Family which fuses influences from the Nike Air Tech Challenge II, Nike Air Flight ‘89, and the Air Jordan IV. The first colorway released was a light version consisting of White/Grey-Silver. In case you have a problem with all white sneakers, which a lot of people do since they’re a PITA to keep clean, Nike’s released an alternative colorway making use of a much darker colors.
To start things off the Air Flight Falcon features a charcoal base constructed from smooth leather and tumbled leather. From there a few hits of black were added in, most notably on the glossy Swoosh, Flight tongue tag, and on the Air Jordan IV sole unit, with black corduroy used on the inner lining. Breathing life into the sneakers and giving some accent coloring is silver trim throughout the entire upper with a splash of the color also surrounding the visible air unit on the mid-sole. The colorway isn’t half bad in my opinion but the corduroy seems to be a little much for this time of year when we’re encountering warmer days and looking to shed some of the heavier fabrics.
I can’t quite say Nike has caught my attention just yet with the Falcon, but if they’ve done so for you, you can grab a pair now through Finish Line.
