Earlier this year Nike released the Navaro High, a newly designed basketball sneaker featuring a classic look inspired by the Blazer. The sneakers didn’t really do it for me at first but after seeing them in stores they’re beginning to grow on me and with the debut of the Navaro Low I think Nike may have caught my attention.
Just like the Blazer’s, Nike produced a low cut Navaro to counter the high top model. The low top sneakers are seen here sporting a stiff black leather upper with perforated detailing replacing the usual Nike Swoosh, a design element included on the high top model as well. Slight visible beneath the perforated Swoosh is a slab of red leather which coordinates nicely with the red pinstripe and the red outline around the Nike branding on the tongue. An ever so common Phylon midsole is fastened below the upper in white and includes a herringbone pattern for superb traction.
If you’re interested in adding a little diversity to your collection select Nike retailers such as DrJays are stocking the Navaro Low in this Black/White-Red color scheme for a price of $69.
