Late last year in 2009 Greedy Genius caught the attention of sneakerheads worldwide with the release of the Ocean Runner, a fresh and casual boat shoe unlike many of the extremely low cut models on the market. As we already know the Ocean Runner’s are set to return this year in a lineup of new colorways and materials, but what we’ve just learned now is that the brand will also be introducing the Ocean Runner LO this Summer.
The Ocean Runner LO features a lower cut then the originals, but yet isn’t as low as say a pair of Timberland Cruisemaster’s. Waxed canvas uppers construct the colorways shown here – navy, brown, chocolate and black – with each also consisting of waxed laces. Sitting pretty below the tonal uppers are white sole units on three of the four models, with a black sole on the black version to give them that all black everything feel.
